Neighbor murder in Thiruvananthapuram leads to four arrests

Police in Thiruvananthapuram arrested four men suspected of killing their neighbour, Visakh, during a personal property dispute. The main accused, Pradeep, along with Raseem, Mukesh and Vineeth, allegedly attacked Visakh with a machete near his house in the Kaithamukku area on July 26, 2026. Visakh was taken to a nearby hospital but died en route.

The suspects fled in a car, which was later found abandoned in Pulayanarkotta. Police recovered three machetes and liquor bottles from the vehicle and, with the help of a dog squad and local residents, detained the four men later that evening. They have been placed in a police camp for interrogation while a murder case is registered at Vanchiyoor police station. The body will be handed to the family after a post‑mortem examination.
