India celebrates Hariyali Teej and Hartalika Teej in August‑September 2026

Hariyali Teej will be observed on 15 August 2026 (Saturday) during the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of the Shravana month. Married women keep a fast for their husbands' longevity and prosperity, worship Shiva and Parvati, follow prescribed dietary and dress guidelines, and perform puja using clay idols of the deities.

Hartalika Teej falls on 14 September 2026 (Monday) with rituals extending to 15 September. Women observe a fast, wear specific colors, set up a clay Shivling at home, and conduct the parana ceremony in the early morning, again seeking Shiva and Parvati's blessings for marital bliss.
