Eugenio Chacarra wins DP World India Championship
Spanish golfer Eugenio Chacarra secured his third DP World Tour victory of the 2026 season at the DP World India Championship in New Delhi. Finishing with a total of 21-under par at the Delhi Golf Club, Chacarra won by two strokes over New Zealand’s Daniel Hillier (-19).
Despite significant weather disruptions earlier in the week, including a nearly five-hour delay due to storms, Chacarra maintained dominance throughout the tournament. His performance included a standout third-round 63, which helped him build a substantial lead heading into the final day.
With this win, the 26-year-old has moved to the top of the Race to Dubai standings, overtaking American Patrick Reed. The victory also strengthens his position as a potential candidate for the European Ryder Cup team. Other notable finishers included Adrian Meronk and Angel Hidalgo, who tied for third at 15-under par.
