India cricket team announces upcoming international and home series schedules

The Indian cricket team has outlined its upcoming international schedule, spanning domestic home series and overseas tours. Following a 1-0 Test series victory against Sri Lanka, India is set to tour New Zealand in November 2026 for two Test matches in Wellington and Christchurch. This tour is critical for the World Test Championship 2025-27 standings.

In early 2027, India will host a five-match Test series against Australia, beginning in Nagpur on January 21.

Domestically, the 2026-27 international home season will begin in late September. This includes a series against the West Indies featuring three ODIs and five T20Is across various cities such as Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and Bengaluru. Additionally, India will host Afghanistan for three T20Is in Delhi during mid-September. The broader home season will also see visits from Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia.
