India criticizes US terrorism and trade policies

Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has expressed significant dissatisfaction with United States policies during an international event in New York. India criticized Washington for a perceived lack of sensitivity regarding terrorism and for increasing its closeness to Pakistan.

Jaishankar also addressed US trade policies, describing them as self-centered and noting their negative impact on Global South nations. He emphasized that international economic decisions should consider the fundamental needs of different populations, citing the complexities of India's agricultural protections and the differing economic structures between the two nations.
