India delivers medical supplies to Kabul as part of humanitarian aid
India has delivered a new consignment of life-saving medicines and medical consumables to a government hospital in Kabul. This shipment is part of India’s ongoing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that health remains a central component of India’s humanitarian efforts in the region. This follows a previous delivery of medical supplies to Kabul on August 20.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal noted that India and Afghanistan share a long-standing relationship. Recent diplomatic developments include the elevation of India’s technical mission in Kabul to an embassy.
