India Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Demanded to Resign Over NEET Exam Leak

MDMK chief Vaiko demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, citing alleged irregularities and a paper leak in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET‑UG) exam. Vaiko made the demand in Coimbatore while attending a local program.

The National Testing Agency has conducted a re‑NEET‑UG examination on June 21 after canceling the original test, and it said results will be announced by July 20, ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament (July 20‑August 13). Opposition parties plan to raise the NEET controversy, along with rising inflation, during the session.

Congress MP Imran Masood echoed the concerns, describing the issue as a major point for the opposition, while Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the session dates.
