India extends anti-dumping duty on Chinese decor paper
The Indian Ministry of Finance has extended the anti-dumping duty on decor paper imported from China until March 26, 2027. This decision follows a recommendation from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
The extension aims to protect domestic industries from the pressure of low-priced imports, which can impact local market prices and employment. The duty, originally established in December 2021, ranges from $110 to $542 per ton.
Additionally, the government has extended anti-dumping duties on calcined gypsum powder imported from Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates until March 16, 2027. Anti-dumping duties on natural mica-based pearl industrial pigments from China have also been extended until February 25 of next year.
