India's gold and silver prices jump sharply in late July 2026

India’s bullion market saw a pronounced rise in late July 2026. On 26 July, the price of 24‑carat gold in Delhi was ₹1,45,080 per 10 g, while 22‑carat gold traded at ₹1,33,000 per 10 g. Silver was quoted at ₹2,40,000 per kilogram nationwide. Over the preceding week gold rose roughly ₹1,800 per 10 g and silver jumped about ₹10,000 per kilogram, driving a weekly gold surge of about 1.3 %.

The rally coincided with heightened U.S.–Iran tensions and a surge in crude‑oil prices, which lifted global safe‑haven demand. Spot gold hovered near $4,052 per ounce and spot silver around $58 per ounce. While most Indian cities reported higher rates, a modest dip was observed in Delhi on 27 July, keeping prices near the week‑high levels.

Analysts note that continued geopolitical uncertainty and stronger dollar pressures could sustain elevated bullion prices, affecting consumers, jewelers and investors across the country.
