India gold and silver prices rise on June 4, 2026
Gold prices in India remained firm on June 4, 2026, as global demand for safe‑haven assets and uncertainty in international financial markets sustained investor interest. Across major cities, 24‑carat gold was trading around ₹1,54,800 per 10 grams (≈₹15,621 per gram) and 22‑carat gold around ₹1,41,900 per 10 grams (≈₹14,319 per gram). The market cited inflation concerns, geopolitical tensions and expectations of central‑bank policy as key drivers.
Silver also held steady, with the metal priced at approximately ₹2,79,900 per kilogram nationally, and the premium‑grade Silver 925 at about ₹2,74,000 per kilogram. Both metals saw steady demand from retail jewellery buyers and investors ahead of the festive season.
Analysts noted that continued resilience in international bullion prices and domestic jewellery demand kept Indian gold and silver rates elevated, while monitoring of currency movements and global monetary policy remains crucial for future price trends.
