India gold and silver prices dip and recover in mid‑July 2026

In mid‑July 2026 Indian bullion markets showed modest movements in gold and silver. 24‑carat gold traded around ₹1.42‑1.43 lakh per 10 g in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, with daily changes of roughly ₹10‑₹110, a slight fall on July 14 and a near‑steady level on July 15. 22‑carat gold hovered near ₹1.30‑1.31 lakh per 10 g, while 18‑carat gold was about ₹1.07 lakh.

Silver prices were around ₹2.34‑2.35 lakh per kg, dipping by roughly ₹100 per kg in several cities, and showing a minor rise of about 0.5‑0.6 % on July 14 when the MCX contract opened higher. International influences such as heightened Middle‑East geopolitical tension, rising crude‑oil prices and higher US Treasury yields were cited as drivers of the modest volatility.

Overall, the Indian bullion market remained largely range‑bound, with investors watching global cues from US monetary policy and oil markets while domestic buyers awaited clearer price direction before making purchases.
