India Launches Fourth Tri-Services Future Warfare Course in New Delhi

The Indian Ministry of Defence announced that the fourth edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course will begin on 3 August 2026 at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. The four‑week program is run under the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff and coordinated by the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies.

It brings together officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force together with representatives from government agencies, academia, industry and strategic think‑tanks. The curriculum covers geopolitical developments, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber and cognitive warfare, information warfare, autonomous systems and future operations across land, maritime, air and space domains, as well as grey‑zone and multi‑domain technology‑enabled warfare. The course aims to strengthen jointness and develop a shared understanding of emerging operational challenges.
