India Medical Device 2026 conference to be held in New Delhi

India will host the 9th edition of the India Medical Device 2026 conference in New Delhi on August 7‑8, 2026. The two‑day event will take place at Bharat Mandapam (Vigyan Bhawan) and is organized by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will inaugurate the conference and deliver a keynote address, while Minister of State Anupriya Patel will open the first day. The theme, “Towards Viksit Bharat: Advancing India as a Global Hub for Quality Medical Devices”, emphasizes self‑reliance, innovation and export promotion. Attendees will include senior government officials, CEOs of leading MedTech firms, researchers, start‑ups and investors.

The conference aims to showcase India’s expanding medical‑technology capabilities, discuss AI, digital health and regulatory reforms, and chart a roadmap for positioning the country among the top five global medical‑device manufacturing destinations by 2047. India’s MedTech market is currently valued at roughly US$15 billion and is projected to reach US$50 billion by 2030, while the nation still imports 70‑80% of its device needs.
