India names 24-player probable squad for Blind Cricket Asia Cup

The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) has announced a 24-player probable squad for the 2026 Men’s Blind Cricket Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As the defending champions, India aims to secure a second consecutive title.

The tournament marks the second edition of the Asia Cup and returns after a ten-year hiatus caused by logistical challenges. The current list of 24 players will undergo a national coaching and selection camp, featuring fitness sessions, tactical training, and practice matches, to determine the final 17-member squad.

CABI Chairman Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar described the tournament's return as a ‘significant moment’ for the blind cricket community. India previously won the inaugural Asia Cup in 2016 by defeating Pakistan in Kochi, Kerala.
