India pace attack faces challenges in West Indies T20I series

India's T20I series against the West Indies is currently tied at 2-2 as both teams struggle to contain high-scoring batting performances. The series has become a run-fest, with targets exceeding 200 becoming difficult to defend.

Sanju Samson noted that there is no direct replacement for Jasprit Bumrah, describing him as a ‘once-in-a-generation kind of bowler.’ Despite the absence of the ace pacer, Samson expressed confidence in the team's depth, specifically backing young bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Prince Yadav to develop through consistent opportunities.

In the fourth T20I, Arshdeep Singh provided a critical breakthrough by dismissing Rovman Powell for 24, breaking a 46-run partnership between Powell and Shai Hope. While Singh has faced challenges with economy rates during the series, he previously delivered a strong performance in the third T20I, taking 3/44 to help India defend 223.
