Women's Asia Cup 2026 to kick off in Dubai with India‑Pakistan clash on Sept 5

The Asian Cricket Council announced on 6 August 2026 that the sixth edition of the Women’s Asia Cup will be staged in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with all matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The T20 tournament runs from 28 August to 13 September and features eight teams – India, Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong (China), Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates and Indonesia – split into two groups of four. Group A comprises India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong (China); Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. The top two sides from each group advance to the semifinals on 10 and 11 September, with the final on 13 September. India, the most successful team with seven titles, will seek an eighth crown, while Pakistan have yet to win the competition.
