India Police Arrest Suspects in Separate Missing‑Person Murder Cases in Faridabad and Agra

In Faridabad, a probe into the theft of 32 licensed firearms from a police armoury led investigators to a year‑old murder. An ITI apprentice, Monu, arrested for the gun theft, allegedly confessed to killing his 19‑year‑old cousin Shivam with the assistance of his girlfriend Sarita. Police have registered a murder case, arrested Sarita and continue searching the Gurugram Canal for Shivam’s body.

In Agra, investigators uncovered the body of Surendra Sharma, who had been missing for 45 days, buried beneath the bathroom floor of his home. His wife, Ruby, was arrested on suspicion of murdering him after allegedly drugging him with kheer laced with sleeping pills and then strangling him. The motive remains unclear, and police are probing possible accomplices while the body undergoes post‑mortem examination.
