Srivastava also called for the recognition of digital public infrastructure as a global public good, noting its critical role in surveillance, vaccination, and supply chain management during the COVID-19 pandemic. She stressed that pandemic preparedness efforts should be integrated into national health systems and domestic financing, with international assistance serving as a complement to national responsibility.

Highlighting India's role in global health, Srivastava noted that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the country supplied 300 million vaccine doses to approximately 100 countries and two UN entities, while providing medical assistance to over 150 countries.
