India records 7.8 percent GDP growth in Q1 of fiscal year 2026-27

Fadnavis stated on social media that the growth rate demonstrates the nation's potential and possibilities under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shinde noted that while many countries face economic crises and geopolitical conflicts, India's expansion reflects stability and progress toward the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' vision and the goal of becoming a $5 trillion economy.
