Bangladesh Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni stated that the objective is to identify and resolve inconsistencies to ensure the pacts serve the national interests of Bangladesh, describing the goal as creating ‘win-win’ arrangements.

Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that India will take all necessary actions to protect its national interests. Bangladesh officials clarified that there are no plans for blanket cancellations of the agreements, but rather a case-by-case assessment to align them with current sovereign priorities.
