India-Russia Business Forum TIME Forum bilateral trade Kazan Tatarstan

The second edition of the India-Russia Business Forum, titled Tatarstan Initiative Mutual Efficiency (TIME), is being held in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan. The forum aims to strengthen economic relations and facilitate business-to-business interactions between Indian and Russian companies.

Consul General of India in Kazan, Jeysundhar Deviprasadh, noted that bilateral trade between the two nations has reached approximately USD 60 billion and continues to grow. Kazan was selected as the venue due to Tatarstan being one of the wealthiest and most dynamically growing regions in the Russian Federation, offering significant opportunities for expanded economic engagement.
