India schedules power cuts in Bengaluru and Udaipur on July 21

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) and the Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) will carry out essential maintenance on July 21, causing scheduled electricity outages in Bengaluru from 11 am to 3 pm. Affected neighbourhoods include Ganganagar, Weavers Colony, CBI Quarters, R. T. Nagar, and several other localities.

In Udaipur, the electricity department plans maintenance that will suspend power in multiple zones between 9 am and 5 pm, covering areas such as Swaraj Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Mansarovar, and surrounding districts. Residents and businesses have been advised to make backup arrangements and monitor updates via official helplines or mobile apps.
