India advances to Pickleball World Cup 2026 quarterfinals

The Indian contingent has secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Da Nang, Vietnam, maintaining an unbeaten record in the team event. After defeating China 4-0 in the Round of 32 and the Philippines 4-1 in the Round of 16, the Indian pro squad is set to face the United States in the quarterfinals.

Individual performances have contributed significantly to India's growing medal tally. Neha Arora secured a silver medal in the 40+ women's singles category, while Prashanti Lakamsani earned silver in the women's singles 50+ category. Other notable successes include Vivek Reddy winning gold in the 40+ men's singles and Ajeet Bhardwaj earning a bronze in men's doubles.

India's success spans multiple age groups, with the India Masters, Junior, and Kids squads also advancing to their respective quarterfinals. While the Senior team's campaign ended following a loss to New Zealand, the overall performance highlights the rapid growth and increasing competitiveness of pickleball within India.
