India strengthens partnerships with Israel and Kenya

India and Israel reaffirmed their close ties at Israel’s 78th Independence Day celebration, with External Affairs Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh stressing a "united stand against terrorism" and highlighting cooperation in security, technology and innovation. Singh noted the elevation to a “Special Strategic Partnership” during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit and the signing of more than fifteen agreements.

Kenyan Foreign Officer Cadet Antony Kalenge is undergoing training at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, a program part of the five‑year defence roadmap agreed by the Joint Defence Cooperation Committee. Kalenge described the physically demanding curriculum as building leadership, teamwork and resilience, adding, “No mission can succeed through individual efforts alone.” The cadet training exemplifies the deepening India‑Kenya defence and people‑to‑people relationship.
