India to host England for three‑match ODI series starting July 14

India will play a three‑match One Day International (ODI) series against England in England from July 14 to July 19, 2026. The first match is scheduled at Birmingham’s Edgbaston ground on July 14, the second at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on July 16 (a day‑night game starting at 5:30 pm IST), and the third at Lord’s in London on July 19.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named a 15‑player squad led by Shubman Gill, with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the batting line‑up and KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan as wicket‑keepers. Notably fast‑bowler Jasprit Bumrah returns to ODI cricket after a three‑year hiatus, having last played an ODI in the 2023 World Cup final. Other returning players include all‑rounders Jaspreet Bumrah and Harshit Rana. The series forms part of India’s preparation for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
