India to host physical disability cricket series and national tournament

India is set to host the India-Sri Lanka Physical Disability Cricket Series 2026, a three-match T20 tournament scheduled from October 31 to November 2 in Chennai. The Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI) has confirmed the selection of the Indian squad based on performance and eligibility. Team manager and former India captain Utpal Majumder noted that players will not bear their own tour expenses, receiving support from the Differently Cricket Council of India and assistance from the BCCI.

In a separate initiative to promote inclusive sports, the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India (DCCBI), the S4UA Foundation, and the Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association (DWCA) have announced the All Ability National Divyang Cricket Tournament 2026. The tournament's trophy and official apparel were unveiled during a press conference in Mumbai, attended by various sports officials and actor Vardhan Puri.
