India to host PSB Confluence for banking leaders

The Indian government is scheduled to host the ‘PSB Confluence’ ideation conclave on August 17-18 in New Delhi. The two-day event aims to foster collaborative dialogue and the exchange of best practices among the leadership of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Public Financial Institutions (PFIs).

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary will attend the event, which is expected to host approximately 125 participants, including Chairmen, Managing Directors, and Executive Directors. Participating institutions include NABARD, EXIM Bank, SIDBI, NHB, IIFCL, IFCI, and NaBFID.

The conclave focuses on developing actionable, time-bound strategies for people-centric outcomes and inclusive economic development. Key thematic tracks include deposit mobilisation, banking for youth, supporting the investment cycle, global capability centres, agriculture and horticulture value chain infrastructure, credit card business re-imagination, and priority sector lending.
