India U20 football team to face Yemen in two friendlies

The Indian U20 men's football team, known as the Blue Colts, will play two friendly matches against Yemen in Bengaluru as part of their preparation for the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 Qualifiers. The matches are scheduled for August 20 and August 23 at the Centre for Sports Excellence and will be played behind closed doors.

These encounters serve as the third and fourth friendlies of the current training camp, following two previous victories against Singapore on August 3 and 6. After the matches against Yemen, the team is scheduled to travel to Tashkent on August 26 to acclimatize to local conditions ahead of the qualifiers.

India's qualification campaign will begin on August 31 against Syria, followed by matches against Uzbekistan on September 3 and Bangladesh on September 6.
