India vs Sri Lanka ODI venue shifted from Delhi to Ahmedabad

The venue for the first One Day International (ODI) between India and Sri Lanka has reportedly been moved from Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that it cannot host the match due to planned renovation work at the stadium. This change prevents Virat Kohli from potentially playing one of his final international matches in his hometown of Delhi.
