Indian actor Pradeep Rawat remembered by Bollywood stars after his death

Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat died on August 4 at the age of 74 after a prolonged battle with blood cancer. His funeral was held on August 5 in Mumbai, where family, friends and members of the film fraternity gathered to pay their respects.

Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan attended the cremation, with Salman posting a nostalgic photo on Instagram and Aamir meeting Rawat’s family. Director Ashutosh Gowariker, who worked with Rawat on Lagaan, was also present. At a subsequent prayer meet, Rawat’s son Vikramaditya Rawat delivered an emotional speech, thanking fans and colleagues from both Hindi and South Indian cinema for their support and expressing belief that his father was now happy in heaven.

The tributes highlighted Rawat’s extensive career across Bollywood and regional films, underscoring the wide affection he commanded within the Indian film community.
