Indian Agricultural Research Institute announces research fellowships

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), operating under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), has announced recruitment for several research positions. The vacancies include Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, and Field Assistant roles.

One project, sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), focuses on pomegranate genetics. Candidates for these roles should possess advanced degrees in Horticulture, Fruit Science, Genetics, Plant Breeding, or related Life Sciences. Stipends for the fellowship positions range from ₹37,000 to ₹42,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
