Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava concludes Nepal tenure

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has concluded his diplomatic assignment in the country, conducting a series of farewell meetings with senior Nepalese officials.

On Monday, Srivastava met with Nepal’s House Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal. This followed previous farewell calls to Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During these discussions, Srivastava highlighted significant progress in deepening the partnership between India and Nepal, specifically noting advancements in energy, infrastructure connectivity, and people-to-people linkages.

Foreign Minister Khanal commended Srivastava for his efforts in strengthening multifaceted ties and noted major milestones in trade and energy cooperation. Khanal also expressed gratitude for India’s swift disaster relief support following floods in the Bhotekoshi River.
