Indian Army Chief reviews LoC preparedness in Kashmir

Indian Army Chief of Staff General Dhiraj Seth visited the forward areas of the Chinar Corps on September 25 to review the operational preparedness of troops stationed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir.

During the visit, General Seth was briefed on security measures, capability development initiatives, and preparations for counter-terrorist operations in the hinterland. He emphasized the “VIJAY” framework, a five-point guiding principle designed to transform the Indian Army into a future-ready force. The framework encourages personnel to innovate with purpose, adapt with agility, build capability with resolve, anticipate challenges, and maintain resilience.
