Indian Army leaders review battlefield readiness and technology integration

Senior Indian Army commanders have conducted high-level reviews of troop readiness and training methodologies, emphasizing the integration of modern technology into military operations.

In Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, visited forward-deployed troops to assess preparedness and training standards. He highlighted the necessity of adapting to emerging technologies and the importance of psychological resilience, physical fitness, and cyber awareness among personnel.

In Varanasi, Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Command, visited the 39 Gorkha Training Centre. The visit included a tactical demonstration of drone integration in battlefield training, reflecting efforts to prepare soldiers for technology-driven modern warfare. Lt Gen Sengupta also interacted with Agniveers and recruits, stressing discipline and the security implications of social media usage.
