Indian Army officials review military readiness and self-reliance

Senior Indian Army officials have conducted reviews of operational and military readiness, focusing on ammunition production, logistics, training, technological innovation, and disaster relief capabilities.

Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain, Vice Chief of the Army Staff, inspected facilities in Khamaria and Jabalpur. His review included the ammunition factory in Khamaria, where he assessed projects aimed at meeting operational needs and boosting indigenous defense capabilities. In Jabalpur, he reviewed operational readiness at the Central India Region headquarters, disaster relief preparations, and infrastructure development at the Military College of Management.

Additionally, Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, Commander of the Central Command, visited the Central Ordnance Depot in Agra. He reviewed modern warehouse management systems, technological processes, and modernization initiatives designed to enhance the effectiveness of the logistics network.
