Indian Army provides technical aid for Nepal flood relief

Nepali Member of Parliament Sagar Dhakal has praised the Indian Army for its technical and operational support during flood relief efforts in Rasuwa. Dhakal, a hydromechanical engineer, highlighted the seamless coordination between the Indian and Nepali armies as they navigate extreme mountainous terrain.

According to Dhakal, the Indian teams introduced specialized technological solutions to manage hazardous ground conditions, such as a chemical used to separate mud from water to allow safer movement through sludge. The relief operation has functioned as a bilateral exchange of expertise, with local teams sharing knowledge on operating equipment like water-jetting machines in return.
