Indian Army reviews corps readiness, highlights tech and innovation

Lieutenant General Manish Luthra, General Officer Commanding of the Kharga Corps, inspected the Kharga Sappers and affirmed the formation’s operational preparedness. He highlighted the integration of cutting‑edge technologies such as drones, artificial intelligence, robotics and modern engineering solutions to improve mobility, survivability and mission effectiveness, and praised the unit’s commitment to innovation and professional competence.

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding‑in‑Chief of the Southern Command, visited the Konark Corps on the Western Front. He observed advanced drones, niche weapon systems and an Additive Manufacturing Hub that produces critical components through 3‑D printing. The review underscored the Indian Army’s drive to embed emerging technologies, enhance self‑reliance and maintain high battle readiness across its combat engineering formations.
