Indian Army soldier found dead at Sunjwan camp in Jammu

A 45-year-old Indian Army soldier, identified as Naik Wagh Ambades, was found dead at the Sunjwan camp in the Channi Himmat area of Jammu on Sunday. Officials report that the soldier, a resident of Maharashtra, allegedly died by suicide after being found hanging in a shed.

The body has been moved to the Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for a postmortem examination and to complete legal formalities. While the motive for the incident is not yet known, local police have initiated inquest proceedings to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
