Indian automobile sales exceed 500,000 units in October 2026

The Indian automobile market saw significant activity in October 2026, with total vehicle registrations surpassing 500,000 units. This marks the second time in the year that monthly sales have exceeded this threshold, following a similar performance in January 2026.

Maruti Suzuki maintained its market leadership, recording 276,120 total sales. Notably, the company’s domestic sales reached 216,789 units, marking the first time its domestic volume has crossed the 200,000 mark.
