Indian Overseas Bank announces 250 Local Bank Officer vacancies

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 250 Local Bank Officers (LBO) in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The vacancies are distributed across four states: 100 positions in Tamil Nadu, 50 in Karnataka, 50 in Maharashtra, and 50 in Gujarat.

Eligible candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The age limit for applicants is between 20 and 30 years, calculated as of August 1, 2026, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories.

The selection process will consist of an online examination, a Language Proficiency Test (LPT), and a personal interview. Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. The online application window opened on August 8, 2026, and the deadline for submission is August 24, 2026.
