Indian personalities Sara Tendulkar and Sobhita Dhulipala have recently showcased distinct interpretations of traditional ethnic wear through modern and retro-inspired saree looks.

Sara Tendulkar featured a pastel green saree characterized by red floral embroidery and a matching embroidered border. The ensemble incorporated a contemporary element with a strapless cream corset blouse, paired with statement silver jewelry and a soft glam beauty aesthetic.

Sobhita Dhulipala attended a wedding wearing a vibrant orange Sindhoori saree from Arpita Mehta’s Everlight collection. The pure georgette garment featured silver butti motifs and a three-tiered design with silver and rose-gold hand embroidery. Dhulipala noted that her look was inspired by retro Bollywood aesthetics, specifically referencing the style of veteran actor Mumtaz.
