Indian Chief Ministers observe World Lion Day

On August 10, various Indian state leaders, including Chief Ministers Yogi आदित्यनाथ of Uttar Pradesh, Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand, and Bhajan Lal Sharma of Rajasthan, observed World Lion Day. The occasion aims to raise awareness regarding declining lion populations and the importance of wildlife conservation.

Chief Minister Yogi आदित्यनाथ stated on social media that protecting the lion, a symbol of strength and courage, is essential for maintaining biodiversity and ecological balance. Similarly, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the importance of public participation in creating environments where both wildlife and nature can thrive.
