Indian companies BHEL, Tata Communications, and Aurobindo Pharma in focus

Several Indian companies are seeing increased investor attention due to recent corporate developments and regulatory updates.

Tata Communications announced that its subsidiary, TC Canada, has reached an agreement in principle with the Canada Revenue Agency to resolve tax claims regarding international telecommunications services. The company expects this settlement to have no significant financial impact. Additionally, the firm issued commercial paper worth Rs 400 crore.

Aurobindo Pharma reported that a USFDA inspection of its subsidiary Epitoria Pharma’s API manufacturing facility in Telangana concluded with a procedural observation. The company intends to respond to the regulator within the required timeframe.

Other notable developments include RR Cable commencing commercial production at its new manufacturing unit in Silvassa, which has an annual capacity of 18,000 MT. Bharat Forge has also entered a partnership with Pratt & Whitney Canada to evaluate advanced turbine technology integration. BHEL remains a stock of interest following market volatility.
