Indian companies secure major energy contracts and financial fundings

Several Indian companies have announced significant business developments in the financial and energy sectors.

In the energy sector, Inox Wind has secured a Rs 755 crore turnkey order from Indian Oil Corporation for a 100 MW wind energy project. The contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, and post-commissioning operations and maintenance. Separately, Solex Energy has obtained domestic supply orders worth approximately Rs 75 crore for Solar PV Modules. The company has previously expressed plans to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity to 15 GW.

In the financial sector, JM Financial Asset Management has raised Rs 700 crore in the first close of its pre-IPO fund, which targets a total corpus of Rs 1,500 crore. The fund aims to invest in businesses expected to go public within 18 months. Additionally, AssetPlus has launched Portfolio Management Services (PMS) for Mutual Fund Distributors in India, providing tools to manage and report on portfolios for high-net-worth clients.
