Indian corporate sector in focus amid IPO plans and major expansions
Several Indian companies are seeing increased investor attention due to significant corporate developments, including dividend payouts, expansion plans, and new contracts.
Bharti Airtel's subsidiary, Airtel Money, has announced plans to list on the London Stock Exchange to access international capital markets. NTPC has completed a total dividend payment of ₹8,727 crore for the fiscal year, amounting to ₹9 per share. Additionally, Exide Industries' subsidiary, Exide Energy Solutions, has commissioned the first phase of a 6 GWh lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.
Other notable activities include HCL Technologies being selected by UK-based M Group to modernize IT operations using its ‘AI Force’ platform, and SUGS Lloyd securing a ₹213.48 crore order for infrastructure work in Punjab. Adani Group stocks are also in focus following reports regarding the resolution of investigations related to US-based short-seller allegations. Meanwhile, JSW Dulux has set a record date for a 1:10 stock split, and Ola Electric Mobility is seeking board approval for a proposed rights issue.
