Indian cricket team schedule for September and October

Following a 1-0 Test series victory in Sri Lanka, the Indian cricket team has a dense schedule for September and October 2026. The team currently holds fifth place in the World Test Championship standings.

India will begin a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan starting September 13. Although Afghanistan is the designated host, all three matches will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The series concludes on September 17.

Following the T20I series, India will face the West Indies in a three-match ODI series. The matches are scheduled for September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram, September 30 in Guwahati, and October 3 in New Chandigarh. Additionally, the team will compete in the Asian Games, entering at the quarter-final stage with a match scheduled for September 28.
