Uttarakhand CM assures Rishabh Pant assistance with land acquisition
Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has appealed to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for assistance in acquiring land to build a home in his native state. Pant, who currently bases himself in Delhi, expressed a desire to return to his roots and contribute to the development of Uttarakhand.
In a social media post on X, Pant stated that he has been attempting to find suitable land for nearly three years but described the process as a "nightmare" due to a lack of clarity. He clarified that while he would appreciate a gift in recognition of his international representation of the state, he is willing to purchase property from the government at official rates.
Chief Minister Dhami responded by calling Pant the "pride of Uttarakhand" and praising his achievements on global stages. Dhami has instructed relevant officials to contact Pant and ensure all possible cooperation is provided in accordance with state regulations.
