Indian cuisine features instant bhature recipe and puffed‑rice dishes

A new instant bhature recipe allows the traditional North Indian fried bread to be prepared without yeast, using pantry staples such as all‑purpose flour, semolina, yogurt and soda water. The method produces soft, fluffy, puffy bhature quickly, suitable for serving with spicy chole, raita or pickles.

Separately, puffed rice is highlighted as a versatile ingredient for five vegetarian dishes: spicy puffed‑rice chaat, puffed‑rice upma, sweet puffed‑rice bars, puffed‑rice poha and puffed‑rice bhel puri. Each dish combines the light crunch of puffed rice with vegetables, spices or sweet jaggery, offering quick, nutritious snack or meal options.
