Indian Directors Nakkina Thrinadha Rao and MS Raju Unveil Upcoming Films

Filmmaker Nakkina Thrinadha Rao, known for directing blockbusters, is producing and acting in the Telugu drama "Anakapalli," co‑produced with Kandregula Naidu and directed by Khagesh Thammineni. The film, starring Vikram Sahidev and Sandhya Vasishta, was shot entirely in Rao’s hometown of Anakapalli and is set to release on August 7. Rao said the story emphasizes family values and that the budget was increased by 10 % to enhance production.

Former hit‑maker MS Raju, now a director, announced the horror‑thriller "Agadha," slated for an August 14 release. The film required extensive VFX work and was completed within a year. At the trailer launch, Raju thanked producers Ajay and Kashi Visalakshi and praised music director Rakesh for the score. The cast includes Shravan, Kamakshi, Jovika and Ulka, and Raju cited his childhood respiratory illness as an inspiration for the project.
