Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi announces new services for expats

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has introduced walk-in appointment options for specific categories of passport, visa, and attestation applicants at all 16 Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) across the UAE. Managed by service provider Alhind Tours and Travels, these walk-in slots will be available from 9 am to 1 pm on a first-come, first-served basis. While walk-ins are permitted for select groups, the embassy encourages users to book online appointments to minimize waiting times.

Additionally, the embassy will host an Open House on August 21 from 2 pm to 4 pm. This event is designed to allow Indian expatriates to discuss concerns regarding labor, consular, educational, and welfare issues with embassy officials. The Open House will offer both in-person and virtual participation options. However, the embassy clarified that no direct consular services, such as passport renewals or document issuance, will be performed during the Open House session.
